Eclipse - The leading Pre-finished Engineered Australian Hardwood Flooring

While solid timber flooring is an excellent choice for any home, Eclipse pre-finished timber flooring comes in a close second. You get the look and beauty of a natural wood floor without the need for sanding or staining. Eclipse works well for laying over concrete slabs or pre-existing floors.


The surface of this engineered timber floor is made of a strong Australian hardwood, while the underside of the floorboards use an extremely stable 9 ply construction made of plantation Eucalypt.


This product is also great for DIY installations, in that you can handle flooring install in sections rather than having to do it all at once. You can also do it while still living in the house and even while using the same room to an extent. It’s easy to install, has minimal mess and creates a perfect timber floor.

Pre-finished in a beautiful semi-gloss appearance these floorboards feature an advanced coating system utilising 13 separate coats, including aluminium oxide, to provide this product with an ultra durable, anti-scratch surface.

Timber Species

Eclipse is available in five beautiful Australian hardwood timber species.

Selecting your timber species for your new Eclipse Engineered Timber Floor comes mostly down to an aesthetic choice.

The timber species will determine the general look, such as colour and grain patterns, however with timber being a natural product even within one species there will be variations. Some species exhibit only small variations while others vary greatly in colour and features.

All species are finished with a semi-gloss surface.

The five Eclipse species are:
